Submit the "Mentor Application."
Submit the "NHPS Volunteer Application." In accordance with New Haven Public School System policy, all school volunteers must be registered and complete a background screening prior to placement. They must also submit a copy of their COVID vaccination card. You must email this completed form to Christin Arnini (Mentor Coordinator) at nhsciencefair@gnhcc.com.
The Mentor Coordinator will confirm with you once your application is processed successfully.
You will be contacted again when there is an opening at a school that fits your interest, expertise, and availability.
The Mentor Coordinator will schedule an initial meeting to introduce you to the teacher and students, and to discuss prospective science projects.
Then you begin volunteering at the assigned school!
