Instructions for navigating the 2023 New Haven Science Fair project registration process.
Step 1 - SRC Project Review Deadline

Teachers submit project information for SRC review to ensure project safety prior to students conducting projects: https://www.nhsciencefair.org/src-review
Step 2 - Official Project Allocations Announced
Friday, March 10

Schools receive official allocations (i.e., # of project slots for the City Fair per school) from Science Supervisor
Step 3 - School Fairs & Project Decisions
by Friday, March 10

Schools schedule and hold school-based fairs before March 10

After receiving project allocations, schools make decisions on which projects advance to the City Fair
Step 4 - Project Registration via Google Survey
Friday, March 10 - Friday, March 24

Teachers register the selected projects from their schools via this Google form survey (*preferably one representative per school): https://www.nhsciencefair.org/project-registration
Step 5 - Projects Finalized
Tuesday, April 6

An official communication will come from the Science Supervisor by April 6 about which projects may advance to the City Fair and tell you the following information: Project ID # and Project Category
Step 6 - New Haven Science Fair (i.e., the City Fair)
